My own journey to become a real-world pilot began with Microsoft Flight Simulator over 10 years ago. Along this journey I realized both the importance and value of truly making one's own home flight simulator ..."As Real As it Gets".
There are thousands of simulator add-on programs, both freeware and payware, that can either help or hinder your development as a real world pilot or as a virtual pilot. Knowing which ones to choose and how to use them in harmony is the ultimate key to becoming a Sim Samurai. There are a ton of frivolous sim products that will not make you a better pilot so if you heed my advice you will soon know what is best ...and what is not.
Only through much trial and error have I found the absolute best ways to master the home PC and key simulator software add-ons so as to make these dreams a wonderful reality. The journey has been a long one...but as you can see, it is well worth it!
