PURCHASING A SIM SAMURAI PRODUCT

SimSamurai.net is a one man "sim flight operations center" based out of San Diego California.  Because this website only sell 5-10 items per week we do not have a typical "Shopping Cart Checkout" feature.  This is only because it costs too much to host one and we want to keep things at a reasonable cost for both of us.  Shipping alone is enough!  Therefore, until SimSamurai becomes a rock star of the sim world, something likely to not happen, we will give you the customer, a personal sales experience with your sim master!

Please review the products sales legend at far bottom left of this page and select from one of the two available payment options which are Paypal (internet e-commerce style) or Postal Snail Mail (horse and buggy style) Either works!

With your purchase you are becoming a brave new member of the illustrious and elite "Sim Samurai Flight Clubwho's members know no bounds for feats of fun and glory!  Your membership is free each year and only requires the purchase of one or more items. Lastly, any product purchases on your first order totaling over $50.00 is discounted 10%.  Now that's a great deal!

At our discretion SimSamurai.net may send out a quarterly club briefing which may include product updates, interesting news in the world of flight simulation, and a scheduled "fly in" invitation for all Club Samurai pilots. This will typically entail a meet and greet session for a pre-planned flight from the GlobeTrekker GT-1000.  So stay sharp pilots ...your skills will be tested! 

Lastly, any personal information given by you, the customer and club pilot, will never be given, sold, bought, processed, or distributed in any way to any entity or business outside of this organization.  SimSamurai will always treat its customers and club members with great care and respect.  It is indeed the Samurai way!


Part A - Purchasing Guideline

When you are ready to purchase a product please send an email to : simsamurai@earthlink.net

Please Include the following information:

#1 - A list of the products you wish to purchase. ( see product legend below ...you can even copy lines into email ! )
#2 - Include shipping cost for each product.  - * if you are purchasing two products at once... discount $5 shipping. (USA only)
        --- * Thus if you live outside the USA such as in Canada, or Europe then full shipping charges for each item will apply.
#3 - State your preferred method of payment (Paypal or Snail Mail...see details below if needed)
#4 - If Paying by Paypal state the email address you use for Paypal.  (as it may be different)
#5 - Make sure to include your full name and proper mailing address so we know where to send your items!
#6 - Send the email to SimSamurai and await further instructions as we will then send you a final invoice / total confirmation.


PAYMENT METHOD # 1 -- PAYPAL

STEP # 1 - PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Paypal is the easiest way for us to make a secure online transaction and if you have ever bought anything off of Ebay chances are you already have a PayPal account.  If you do not have a Paypal account please see the second payment method and or go to Paypal to sign up for an account.  It is fast, easy to do, and is totally secure. SimSamurai has used PayPal for over 10 years and most people you know have too!  During registration you will have to link PayPal to your actual bank account and or a credit card.  Paypal does not cost you any fee to make a purchase and only charges credit fees to the seller (us) and not you.  Once your PayPal registration is complete you can send money to any people (who also accept Paypal) and can then likewise invoice any other people who use Paypal too. Isn't e-commerce grand! ...Wave of the future, wave of the future...future! (you saw the movie!)

 MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT WILL RECEIVE E-CASH OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT. 

If you want to pay by credit card then your Paypal account must be set up by having your credit card linked to your PayPal account in additon to linking PayPal with your regular bank account. I can only accept credit card payments through PayPal and not any other method because we are not a typical business which requires the need for alot of daily credit transactions.  This is assumably because SimSamurai is out busy flying aircraft and is not always busy with selling simulator products.  So again, we do accept credit payments but only when your credit card has been linked through your PayPal account.  So,... if you want to pay by credit card please make sure it is linked to your PayPal account because you can then pay us directly by using the "Send Money" link and posting funds to the email address of : simsamurai@earthlink.net.  Otherwise we will create and send you an invoice via PayPal.  Just make sure you know your final total before using the "Send Money" option!


STEP # 2 - PAYMENT TRANSACTION
If you already know the items that you want to purchase simply view the item / product cost and shipping cost schedule at the bottom left of this page.  Calculate the total costs based on the schecdule and then using the PART A  - Purchasing Guideline above send an email to SimSamurai@earthlink.net to confirm the cost of your order.  We will verify the cost within 24 hours and  will then tell you that you are clear to make payment or if you would like to be invoiced instead then please make note of that in your email.  Either method works!

A purchase email example to Sim Samurai would be as follows;

" Hi Sim, I would like to become a new member of the Sim Samurai flight club by purchasing the following items ;"......Then simply follow along with the original instructions under the Part A Purchasing Guideline and list EACH item on its own separate line along with the amount of each item found from the products list at the bottom left of this page. 

Do not forget to include any shipping costs or fees if specified below.  Depending on the cost of each item we will then send you a confirmation email with the total invoice for the items and will instruct you to look for the PAYMENT INVOICE from Paypal in your email.  Once created this will be a fast process and you can pay instantly once the Paypal invoice arrives in your e-mailbox.  Also know that we do our best to only charge actual shipping costs based on your location and will always combine shipment costs with multiple items to save you money.



PAYMENT METHOD # 2 -- CHECK / CASHIERS CHECK VIA "SNAIL" MAIL

STEP # 1 - INSTRUCTIONS
If you live on the moon or a deserted island with an airstrip that provides mail service then you can option to send a check or bank certified money order instead of using the e-commerce route as we understand that internet service is often dodgy or non-existant on the moon or remote islands.   While this method is certainly slower ...it still works and is acceptable to us at SimSamurai.net.  Just know that all checks or money orders will be verified for authenticity and must be cleared into our bank before any product will be mailed out.

STEP # 2 - PAYMENT TRANSACTION
If you already know the items that you want to purchase simply view the item / product cost / shipping cost schedule at the bottom left of this page.  Calculate the total costs based on the schecdule and then using the PART A  - Purchasing Guideline above send an email to SimSamurai@earthlink.net to confirm the cost of your order.  We will verify the cost and tell you that you are clear to make payment or if you would like to be invoiced instead then please make note of that in your email.  Again you can pay once a total is confirmed or we can send a Paypal payment request.

A purchase email example to Sim Samurai would be as follows;

" Hi Sim, I would like to become a new member of the Sim Samurai flight club by purchasing the following items ;"......Then simply follow along with the original instructions under the Part A Purchasing Guideline and list EACH item on its own separate line along with the amount of each item found from the products list at the bottom left of this page.  Please take your best guess for the shipping and we will correct it if need be!

Do not forget to include any shipping costs or fees if specified below.  Depending on the cost of each item we will then send you a confirmation email with the total invoice for the items
and will instruct you to include a specific amount on the check or bank certified money order.  Lastly, we will provide you with a name and post office mailing address in San Diego California.  Once the payment is received we will send you an email stating that payment was received and deposited in our bank.  Once the payment has cleared (expect 5-7 business days from receipt if a check)  we will then send you the item(s) once the funds have cleared.  Again, we assume this is fair, reasonable, and honest for both parties.  Lastly,  know that we do our best to only charge actual shipping costs based on your location and will always combine shipment costs with multiple items to save you money.


PART B - Item(s) Shipment Details

Once payment is verified, Paypal will send us a completed payment notice, or after any check or money order has cleared into my account, we will then mail out the materials within 5 days.  After product is mailed mailing please expect a 5-10 day delivery time if within the USA or 10-14 days if you live in Europe or up to 30 days if you live on the moon or a deserted island. We typically mail all weekly sales items on the following Monday after the weeks invoices are in.

We typically use UPS for all USA orders and I use United States Postal Air Mail for all foreign buyers.  UPS provides a tracking number. USPS only provides a reciept.  If you are in a foreign country (non USA) then do know that you may have to call your customs office to pick up items that have been shipped from outside your country and or you may have to pay a small fee to yours customs office.  While we do list our products as "documents" on custom forms various countries may still require your signature for delivery or pick-up. Please do not ask us how customs work in your own country!

If you are a foreign customer outside of the US please expect 10-14 days for overseas delivery.  If you are purchasing a sim station RTA kit please expect 45 days delivery time as the RTA version is made to order and thus will be hand crafted for approximately 30 days from date of purchase. However, we do make them 3 at a time so you can also inquire about in stock availability!

If you want a tracking number for your item(s) (such as from UPS) please let us know via email.  Please include your name in the email and we will send you your tracking number! Do know that we will use the exact adress that you provide and know that we write very clearly on all packaging!

If you are purchasing an XS-1 flight sim station RTA kit please expect 30 days delivery time. ( each are cut on demand as they are not mass produced )


Once payment is verified we will immediately send you the free GLOBETREKKER GT-1000 via email.  This will contain the GT-1000 and .PDF files which contain the supplemental documents !  If however you are purchasing a GT-1000 by itself then expect it to be emailed within 12-24 hours after your payment is made.

    SimSamurai combines shipping on multiple items to save you money!  Typical charges for flat rate shipping are $5, $10, $15, $20, or $25. We will choose a fee that is most appropriate to your order and your location in the world!

For example if you order the UGTAFS Manual and DIY prints and live in the US the combined ship fee will be $15. If you live in the UK the combined total for the UGTAFS and Blueprints is $25.00.  For customers in Germany, France, or Italy the combined shipping cost of UGTAFS manual and DIY blueprints is $35.00

DELIVERY TIMES:
We usually ship out all items at the beginning of the following week. Hence if you order an item on a Wednesday which requires shipment then it will be sent out the following Monday.  Please expect 7-10 days delivery time for mailed items such as the Ultimate Sim Guide or D-I-Y Sim Station Blueprints / D-I-Y manual pack.

Emailed items such as the GT-1000 or In-Flight Handbook will typically be sent within 24 hours of payment confirmation.  If you are receiving the GT-1000 for free in conjunction with purchase of another item the GT-1000 will be sent via email within a day or two after the payment clears for the primary item.

FREIGHT DELIVERY:

For the XS-1 RTA Flight Simulator Station expect a delivery date of 30 days after payment clears. We do make 3-5 stations in advance so depending on the "stock quantities on hand" you may receive the XS-1 sooner than 30 days or up to 30 days. Otherwise fabrication and proper packaging typically takes two weeks and then you can expect a 7-14 day delivery time once sent out hence a total 30 day window from date of your order to date of receipt.

OVERSEAS / FOREIGN BUYERS:
We will ship world-wide provided you, the buyer, are agreeing to pay full shipment costs which can and will be pre-determined via email prior to your payment.

To calculate shipment costs outside of the contiguous lower 48 USA states please send inquiry via email to simsamurai@earthlink.net with what product or products you wish to buy and make sure to specify your exact shipping address including Country, City and Postal Code. We will typically have a complete shipping quote to you within 48 hours after which you can then decide if you would like for us to send you an invoice for the sale so as to proceed with payment(s).

Make sure you email your mailing address exactly how it should appear to your countries postal mail carrierThis includes all proper line separations!

XS-1 RTA SIM STATION DOWN PAYMENTS:

For the XS-1 RTA Sim Station we will require non-refundable down payments of 1/2 the total amount (Item + shipping) and will prepare the item for shipping but will not ship the item until the second and or final payment has been made and has been cleared by our bank. If you require proof that the item is ready to be shipped this can be provided to you but rest assured that your satisfaction is our goal and SimSamurai honors all large ticket items such as an XS-1 RTA kit!
